In a shallow rectangular pan, add 2 cups buttermilk, salt, pepper, chili powder and paprika. Stir with a fork to mix the spices with the butter milk.
Add the chicken pieces in butter. Make sure that most of the chicken is covered with the whey, adding more if needed.
Cover with saran, and place the chicken marinate in the refrigerator.
Marinate 12-24 hours. Most marinated chicken is juicy.
