This Indian spice roasted cauliflower is one of the most valuable things, the cook of the house; a simple, easy and delicious different vegetable garnish.
4-6 servings makes Indian Spice Roasted Cauliflower
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Total time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tablespoon garam masala, or any mixture of Indian spices like tandoori spices, or a mixture of curry
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- A quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper, optional
- 1 head cauliflower, washed, cored, cut into 2-inch pieces
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a bowl, combine butter and spices, and stir whisk until smooth. Add cauliflower and with a spatula completely coated with butter / spices. Uniform covered on a baking sheet and roast for 35-45 minutes, or until the stems are tender and edges are browned. Serve hot or warm.
